BRIC Fundraising drive for COVID-19 Crisis Response

Dear Community,
As the human race suffers the debilitating effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, it is our duty to come together as a community and help in any way we can.
We need to keep our doctors, nurses, and frontline workers safe as they work hard to save lives every day.
HOW CAN WE HELP?
BRIC has launched a fundraising drive to help raise funds that will primarily be used to:
1. Buying N95 masks, gowns, PPE kits, hand-wash soap, medical-grade examination gloves, and other supplies for donation to hospitals.
2. Providing Lunch / Dinner meals through local pizzerias to COVID-19 unit staff at various medical centers.
3. Buying 100% cotton fabric and elastic bands and procuring sewing machines to make masks.
4. BRIC members are supporting Knit Crochet with Love’s (KCWL)  mask-making task force who are diligently involved in making masks needed by the local and out of state frontline healthcare workers. If you would like to join the mask-making task force, please join the group by emailing knitcrochetwithlove@gmail.com.If you don’t have a sewing machine, BRIC can help you get one.

5.  Donating non-perishable goods to local food pantries – The number of people seeking daily meal- help has increased over the past two weeks. BRIC member, Reena Singhvi has been collecting non-perishable food and dropping at The Food Bank Network of Somerset County.
If you can help, please drop off your donations of non-perishables at any of the following locations:
Reena Singhvi – 8 Independence Drive
